Let me share what I do in my classroom. In grade XI, we learn about the Explanation text. And there are many techniques in teaching it. On this occasion, I list in points so that you can easily be understood.

The followings are some activities  I told you before. Hopefully, it can inspire you.

1. Silent reading
-The teacher let the students choose the text they want to read on page 125, 126, 127
-Students read Explanation Text about Tsunami/Cyberbullying/Global warming in fifteen minutes

2. Present it
-Students present what they read in front of the teacher
-Students answer what the teacher asks
3. Group Discussion
-Students are divided into groups (Students decide their group topic)
-Teacher and students identify the social function, generic structure, and language feature of the text
-Students search for some factual information about the text
4. Present (the results are in videos)
-Students present the result by record their presentation (Deadline in 2 weeks)
