Should the teacher give homework for the students
The teacher should give the homework for the students. Homework is the kind of assignment that is usually given by the teacher for the students after explaining the material. This assignment must be done by the students at their home. There are some reasons why homework should be given by the teacher for the students.
The first is that actually the purpose of the homework is helping the students to master about the material that was given by the teacher before. The students will study again about the material that was given by the teacher to do their homework well. And then if there is any difficulties to do their homework, they will probably try to solve them by looking for the material in other sources like internet, book, and etc. It means that students will be curious about the material and try to improve their knowledge in order to master the material.
The second is the best way to manage time for studying is by giving the homework for the students. The students will spend their time to study at home especially to do their homework. I think it will give the good impact for the students especially the lazy students who often spend their time to do their homework. Those students will be pushed to spend their time to do the homework and hopefully after they do it scarcely the lazy students will be a diligent student.
The third is increasing the  students’ responsibility. By giving the homework for the students, they will  have a responsibility to do the homework well. The students consider that the homework will have influence in their score so they do it as well as possible.
From the reasons above, we can make a conclusion that the homework should be given by the teacher for the students.
